Eurotrip: Day 1 (London Arrival)
07/02/2010
Its 7pm but it feels like one of those days when its 2pm and youve done nothing the entire morning.
Traveling for 10 hours by plane at 8pm and not having a cell phone since 2:30pm on Thursday, July 1st.
I had my first full dish of tomatoes today. It was a crab linguini with cherry tomatoes in a white wine garlic olive oil sauce. So good. makes me intruiged about whether i should start liking cherry tomatoes even tho i dislike regular tomatoes.
I cant say im surprised its 9pm and its still bright out in London. But living in this situation is really weird especially when youre jetlagged and dont want to sleep.
My mom paid £1.70 for an ice cream cone because she wanted to know if UK ice cream tasted any different. Btw £1.70 is about $2.60 -_-
On my first outing i noticed i think british white girls are attractive (in general) moreso than american white girls. Explains a lot. If i had to move out of the country, London is definitely a viable option now. So that makes two cities aside from LA that i wouldnt mind living in (NY and London).
Also, I paid £7.50 for 90 mins of internet access. Thats about $11.25 lol what can i say? i need my internet access.
I still dont understand the decimal values (or “cents” in relation to USD) for UK pounds. I think theyre symbolized as “p” but their coin system is weird bc i got 2 coins back from giving a 10 bill when paying for my 7.50 internet. *confused*
