Old Man

28Sep09

I’d like to assume this is a big point in my life. I mean, how many decade birthdays will I have? Probably somewhere between seven to nine, depending on the average lifespan of an American male by the time I get to that age.

It’s really been the greatest past ten years of my life. Okay there’s not much to compare it to, other than to the first ten years of my life (which I barely remember). But when I look at the grand scheme of things, those were some pretty darn good ten years. For instance, I believe I’ve found over $100, maybe over $200 in the past decade. Of course that’s really nothing compared to how much money gets earned and spent over a ten year period, but still pretty good huh?

Or the time when the St. Louis Rams won the Super Bowl back in 2001 (or was it 2000)? Either way I remember that trip to Laughlin just because of how amazed my parents and family friends were when I pretty much correctly predicted every Rams playoff game score.

Or the first day I started college… really there are just too many awesome memories. You know what, these memories are more than just awesome, they’re awe-quite-a-bit.

I’m just really psyched and scared at the same time for these next ten years. I mean, everything in my life is going to change and these changes could potentially be drastic. Who knows where I’ll be, what I’ll be doing, how much I’ll be enjoying my life. Sigh. Just flat out depressing…

WHY & when did it get depressing?? Dude, that last paragraph was potentially so full of fun & adventures, and then you killed it by sighing & being depressed. >:(

The “awe-quite-a-bit” made me chuckle. You’re so witty! XD
